There are three fields of core competences that are separated: „Market-access competences“ facilitate focussed market penetration and establish the contact to buyers, „integrity-related competences“ are important for fast and reliable cooperation between different organisational units and functions within the company, whereas „functionality-related competences“ focus on providing outstanding functionality in the products to be sold.
