So nahm die publizistische Tätigkeit bei ihm immer einen breiten Raum ein. Bereits 1967 erschien sein Buch „Gewinn-Management“, in dem schon viele Controlling-Gedanken vorweggenommen sind. 1971 erschien dann erstmals sein Best- und Longseller „Controller-Praxis“, ein zweibändiges Standard-Werk. 1975 startete er das „Controller Magazin“. Mit einer Auflage von 10.000 ist das „Controller Magazin“ die mit Abstand auflagenstärkste Controlling-Fachzeitschrift im deutschsprachigen Raum. Das Schreiben war Deyhle immer wichtig, nicht nur, weil er etwas zu schreiben hat und es ihm offensichtlich auch leicht von der Hand geht, sondern auch getreu dem Motto: „Wer schreibt, der bleibt“. So nahm die publizistische Tätigkeit bei ihm immer einen breiten Raum ein. Bereits 1967 erschien sein Buch „Gewinn-Management“, in dem schon viele Controlling-Gedanken vorweggenommen sind. 1971 erschien dann erstmals sein Best- und Longseller „Controller-Praxis“, ein zweibändiges Standard-Werk. 1975 startete er das „Controller Magazin“. Mit einer Auflage von 10.000 ist das „Controller Magazin“ die mit Abstand auflagenstärkste Controlling-Fachzeitschrift im deutschsprachigen Raum. Das Schreiben war Deyhle immer wichtig, nicht nur, weil er etwas zu schreiben hat und es ihm offensichtlich auch leicht von der Hand geht, sondern auch getreu dem Motto: „Wer schreibt, der bleibt“.
